Errol Cheong has a wealth of experience in software development. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Research Programmer at York University, where they developed visual experiments with high frequency data sampling in Tcl/Tk and C++, and created and maintained data analysis programs for multiple visual-motor experiments in Matlab. In 2016, they became a Sign & Graphic Technologist at WJT Distributing Inc., where they were responsible for material fabrication by laser and router cutting, and prepared client files for production using Adobe Illustrator, Coreldraw, and FlexiSign. Errol also developed macros for Coreldraw using VBA to provide quick analysis of vector shapes. In 2017, they joined Rthm Technologies Inc. as an iOS Developer, assisting the lead developer in developing Rthm iOS app in Swift using Realm, MusicKit, and AVFoundation, and developing a website using ReactJS and Express.js with DynamoDB to display a DNA health analysis from a genetic text file. In 2018, they worked as a Mobile Developer (iOS/Android) at XapCard Inc., where they were solely responsible for architecture and implementation of creating digital cards by creating a Photoshop like app with many intricate and easy to use gestures. The same year, they also became an iOS Developer at mobileLIVE Inc. In 2020, they joined TouchBistro as a Senior Mobile Software Developer (iOS) and Mobile Software Developer (iOS) III. Currently, they are a Senior iOS Engineer at Coffee Meets Bagel.

Errol Cheong's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Hons. Major/Minor Kinesiology and Health Science and Psychology from York University, obtained between 2011 and 2015, and an iOS Development Bootcamp from Lighthouse Labs in 2017.
