Sammie J.

Sammie J. has a varied work experience beginning in 2013 as a Piano Teacher for Self-Employed. In 2015, they worked as Instructional Staff Tech Support for UBC Arts ISIT. From 2017 to 2018, they held the role of Frontend Developer Intern for Global Relay and Full Stack Developer Intern for UBC School of Population and Public Health. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Fortinet as an Intrusion Prevention System Analyst I and Junior Intrusion Prevention System Analyst, and currently hold the role of Backend Engineer II and Backend Engineer III for Coffee Meets Bagel.

Sammie J. completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Prior to this, they attended the University Transition Program. Additionally, they obtained an ARCT - Performer certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music in June 2009.
