Candice Madison

Benn Candice Madison is an accomplished coffee industry professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Coffee Officer at Rosta Caffe since February 2023 and Founder & CEO of Kandake Boutique Coffees, a new start-up since August 2021, Benn has a strong background in coffee education and roasting. As a Q Arabica Instructor at Coffee Quality Institute since July 2016, and previously as Vice President at the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity until August 2022, Benn has demonstrated a commitment to quality and equity in the industry. With prior experience as Director of Roasting at Royal Coffee, Inc. and Director of Education at Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, Benn has honed skills in roasting and quality control. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Sensory Science from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Vassar College.
