Corporate Manager, Energy Storage at Coffman Engineers

Mitch is Coffman’s corporate manager of energy storage and he has positioned Coffman as a premier consultancy for lithium-ion battery systems. With a pioneering spirit, technical proficiency, and approachable client rapport, Mitch leverages his technical skillsets to manage battery and energy storage projects and staff resources across the company. His experience in the energy and utility industry combined with his depth in project development, engineering, and management has resulted in significant growth in this service market.

Mitch works closely with Coffman’s Energy & Sustainability group to develop project opportunities across the country, provide strategic guidance for the department, and support project execution with engineering design and quality control.

During his time at Coffman, Mitch has grown Coffman’s energy portfolio from a single six-battery project to include more than 90 energy storage projects across all offices within a few years.

Mitch is a licensed mechanical engineer and certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has an MS from the University of California San Diego and a BS from San Diego State University.
