Mercedes Storch

Mercedes Storch currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at COFIDES since October 2022 and has been the Head of FondICO Next Tech and International Relations at AXIS Participaciones Empresariales SGEIC SA since August 2017. Storch is also a blogger at SINTETIA, contributing neutral analyses of economic news through a weekly column in ElConfidencial.com and Revista Tiempo since July 2013. Previously, Storch held the position of Senior Funding Consultant at the Council of Europe Development Bank from January 2017 to August 2017 and served as a senior funding officer at Instituto de Crédito Oficial from January 2003 to July 2017, focusing on debt issuance in international capital markets. Storch has experience as an Associate Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, teaching Financial and Services Marketing and Organizational Economics, and began career work as a Regulatory Development Analyst at Iberdrola in 1999. Storch holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completed in 2002.
