Gautam Samanta

Gautam Samanta is the EVP & Global Head of BFS at Coforge. Prior to joining Coforge, they were with Capgemini for five years, where they were responsible for managing the P&L for part of the FS business in UK & Ireland. Gautam then moved to Infosys, where they spent four years as Vice President - Global Client Partner - Financial Services, managing a portfolio of FS accounts in Europe. Gautam was instrumental in creating two of Infosys' largest Financial Services Accounts in Europe and was awarded Infosys' Award for Excellence in Sales in 2015 and Infosys' Award for Excellence in Account Management in 2016. In 2016-17, they were responsible for 10% of the company's overall growth. Prior to joining Infosys, they were with i-flex Solutions Ltd. for four years as Senior Manager and icici Bank for six years as AVP - Major Clients Group.

Gautam Samanta has a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in Finance and Marketing and a B Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in Mechanical Engineering.

They work with Rajeev Batra - EVP & Global Head, Insurance, John Speight - Chief Delivery Officer & Head of Business Advisory, and Madan Mohan - EVP & Global Head, Travel & Transportation. Their manager is Sudhir Singh, CEO & Executive Director.
