Simon Joly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the marketing and media industry. Simon is currently working as a Team Lead, Integrated Media at Cogeco Connexion since October 2023. Prior to that, Simon spent a considerable amount of time at Ubisoft, where they held the position of Marketing Director - Canada from June 2018 to March 2023. In this role, they led and managed a team of 10 marketing professionals, developed data-driven marketing plans for over 30 game launches, and fostered a positive work environment. Simon also worked at lg2 as a Strategic Planner, Digital from May to October 2016, at Carat as Director, Digital Activation from March 2012 to April 2016, and at Marketel as a Digital Strategist from May 2010 to September 2011. Simon'searly career includes roles at Cossette Media as a Digital Media Planner and Digital Media Assistant from July 2008 to May 2010 and November 2007 to June 2008, respectively.
Simon Joly attended HEC Montréal from 2017 to 2018 and completed an Advanced Management Training program at the École des dirigeants (Manager's school). In 2013 to 2014, they participated in the Route 500: Emerging Leaders' Development Program offered by DENTSU AEGIS Network. In 2007, Simon took part in the Concours de la Relève Publicitaire at the Université de Montréal. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Communication (cumulative) at the Université de Montréal. Additionally, in 2002 to 2003, Simon completed a minor in Anthropology at the same institution. Simon began their post-secondary education at Cégep Gérald-Godin, where they obtained a DEC in Humanities Sciences from 2000 to 2002.
