David Blocher has a diverse work history in the telecommunications industry. David started their career at UUNET as a Regional Account Manager, selling internet connectivity to commercial accounts. David was later promoted to Senior Account Manager, focusing on wholesale accounts. David achieved President's Club recognition in 1999 and 2000. David then moved on to Internap as a Senior Account Manager, where they targeted commercial accounts in the Washington DC region and sold various services including colocation and IP transit. After that, they worked at Verizon Business as an Investment Client Executive, before joining SunGard Availability Services as a Senior Account Manager, where they focused on new business development in the Mid-Atlantic region. David then joined Cogent Communications as a Global Account Manager, responsible for selling colocation, IP transit, and Ethernet services. David achieved several awards and successes at Cogent Communications, including being the top revenue producer in 2008 and achieving 144% of quota in Q1 2012. David later joined NTT America as a Global Account Manager before returning to Cogent Communications as the Director of Premier Accounts.
From 1987 to 1992, David Blocher attended George Mason University, where they received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
