Dean Alvarez

Dean Alvarez is a seasoned professional in data center operations and facilities management with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Regional Manager of Data Center Operations at Cogent Communications since September 2022, Dean previously held roles such as Data Center Operations Manager at the same company and Facilities Management Specialist at Kaplan. Earlier experience includes the position of Data Center Engineer at Cogent Communications and Assessment Service Associate at BSI, where Dean honed skills in project management, vendor management, account management, and maintenance management. Dean is an alumnus of Northern Virginia Community College.
