Sophie Faussurier

Sophie Faussurier (Dabin) has over 29 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Network Planning ROW Director at Cogent Communications since March 2000, Sophie is responsible for ensuring the company's transport network is well-dimensioned and capable of growth to meet customer demands. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a Transmission Engineer at Telecom Développement from April 1997 to March 2000, collaborating closely with Alcatel on SDH equipment and conducting testing and troubleshooting. Additionally, Sophie gained valuable experience as a Transmission Engineer at Matra Ericsson Telecommunications from January 1994 to March 1997, where responsibilities included acting as a technical interface between Ericsson and France Telecom, with significant time spent in Sweden in a transmission lab. Sophie's educational background includes a degree from ENSTB - Telecom Bretagne.
