Alex Slater

Alex Slater is an accomplished leader in business operations with extensive experience in the education and training sector. Currently serving as the Head of Business Operations at Cogent Skills Services since March 2014, Alex focuses on operational management, strategy development, market positioning, and achieving key performance indicators. Prior to this role, Alex was the Operations Director at The National Skills Academy for Process Industries from August 2008 to March 2014, where responsibilities included financial management and team leadership to enhance industry engagement in skills and apprenticeships. Alex also held positions such as Finance Manager at The Naafi and Operations Manager at City Centre Training, where management of finances and operations for a large regional training provider was pivotal. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds.
