Roger Thomas

Roger Thomas is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Group Head of Marketing at Cogent Skills since August 2020, Roger previously held the position of Marketing Campaign Manager and Head of Membership Marketing at Make UK from 2012 to August 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Marketing Manager at SSE plc from June 2010 to May 2012, where Roger focused on developing and implementing integrated marketing plans to enhance customer acquisition and retention. The career began at Eaga in September 2001, progressing from Graduate Trainee to Marketing Manager over nearly a decade. Roger holds a MiniMBA in Marketing from 2018 and several degrees from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, including a Professional Post-graduate Diploma and a CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing, as well as a BA(hons) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
