George Knapp

George Knapp has extensive work experience in the energy industry. George has held various legal and executive roles in companies such as Cogentrix Energy, PowerFin Partners, Arent Fox, Knapp Global Energy Services, Microgrid Energy, Wind Capital Group, NextEra Energy Resources, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, Coudert Brothers, and McDermott, Will & Emery. Throughout their career, they have been involved in a wide range of activities including project development, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, project financing, and legal advisory services. George'sexpertise spans across solar, wind, microgrid, and traditional energy projects, and they have worked on projects globally in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

George Knapp completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA, where they attended from 1972 to 1975. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from The George Washington University Law School, from 1975 to 1978.
