Ana Maria Cortazar has extensive work experience in various roles related to software testing, quality assurance, and software engineering.
Ana Maria started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the Universidad Autónoma de Colombia, where they ensured the operation and development of computers and equipment in the laboratories and assisted teachers and students during computer courses.
Next, Ana Maria worked as an Application Developer, where they developed applications for an undisclosed company between June 2000 and August 2003.
Ana Maria then joined SAR S.A. as a Software Engineer, responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and controlling IT service projects and operations related to the public transportation system in Bogota. Ana Maria also analyzed and designed requests for new modules and updated the technological solution.
In 2011, Ana Maria began working at Cogiscan, initially as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, they actively contributed to the development of software testing strategies, wrote test scenarios and cases, prepared test environments and data, executed manual test cases, and reported and resolved anomalies.
Currently, Ana Maria holds the position of Software Test Manager at Cogiscan. Ana Maria'sresponsibilities include establishing and transmitting the quality vision, developing standard test strategies and plans, and managing version releases and test environments.

Ana Maria Cortazar attended Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne in 2021, where they obtained a degree in Software quality test automation, specializing in the field of Software quality. Prior to that, they studied at Cégep de Granby from 2010 to 2011, completing an AEC in French Studies.
In 2005, Ana Maria Cortazar enrolled in Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas and earned a Bachelor of Technology degree (BTech) in Computer Software Engineering in 2006. Before that, they pursued their Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Programming at Universidad Autónoma de Colombia from 1994 to 2002.
In addition to their formal education, Ana Maria Cortazar has obtained various certifications. Ana Maria completed the Automatisation de tests en Qualité du Logiciel certification at Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne in January 2021. Ana Maria also holds the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) and Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC®) from CertiProf, which they obtained in July 2020. Furthermore, they participated in Agile Tour Montréal 2022 organized by Agile Montréal.
