Hugh O'Reilly

Hugh O'Reilly has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Hugh started their career as a Partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP, where they worked from 1989 to 2000. Hugh then served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and General Counsel (GC) of SANZ Inc. & SAN Holdings, Inc., and its predecessor ITIS Services, from 2000 to 2005. During their time there, they oversaw the sale of a majority interest in SANZ to Sun Capital Partners in 2003.

Afterward, Hugh worked at Agincourt Consulting Group LLC as the Managing Partner from 2005. In 2007, they joined DataCation LLC and its predecessor CaseNEX LLC as the CFO and GC. Hugh successfully led the sale of the company to LLR Partners, a private equity fund, in 2015.

In 2011, Hugh became the CFO of Whole Systems, a corporate training boutique serving the Bio-Pharma industry and others. Hugh joined during a period of financial distress and successfully restructured operations, leading the company to return to profitability.

In 2018, Hugh joined Cognaisent Inc. as the CFO. As an Artificial Intelligence software startup focused on machine learning technology, Hugh played a crucial role in developing the company's business and commercialization efforts.

Hugh's most recent position was as the CFO and GC of Operoo, a fast-growing developer of SaaS software for school operations. Hugh joined the management team in mid-2019 and led the company's successful sale to PSG Equity in 2021.

Throughout their career, Hugh has demonstrated expertise in finance and leadership roles, consistently achieving positive results for the organizations they have worked with.

Hugh O'Reilly attended Dartmouth College from 1982 to 1986, where they did not receive a degree or pursue any particular field of study. Following their time at Dartmouth, they enrolled at Vanderbilt University Law School from 1986 to 1989 and successfully completed their Juris Doctor (JD) degree, specializing in the field of Law.
