Christian Barron

Christian Barron has over 15 years of work experience in software testing and quality assurance. Christian is currently working as a Software Test Lead at CognAssist since 2019. Prior to this, they served as a Quality Assurance and Software Test Manager at Phonovation from 2018 to 2019, where they successfully introduced a Quality Assurance architecture and implemented both manual and automated testing practices.

From 2014 to 2018, Christian worked as a Test Lead at Mandata (Management and Data Services) Ltd. In this role, they transformed the company's testing architecture, defined testing processes, and managed test plans using Visual Studio Test Manager and Test Controllers/Agents.

Christian previously worked at Digital Spark Limited as a Data Analytics Developer and Senior QA Analyst from 2012 to 2014. In this position, they developed reporting solutions for the NHS and tested web-based applications using both manual and automated methodologies.

Christian also has experience as a Test Analyst at Virgin Money in 2012 and as a Test Analyst (System & System Integration Test Team) at Northern Rock Plc from 2007 to 2012. In these roles, they led test teams, produced test plans and schedules, and carried out testing for major software releases and projects.

Christian'searlier experience includes working as an IT Trainee at Northern Rock and as a Quality Assurance/User Acceptance Testing, Tester 2 at Aviva. Additionally, they worked as a Data Entry Administrator at Mowlem Plc.

Throughout their career, Christian has demonstrated expertise in testing processes, test automation, and implementing quality assurance frameworks.

Christian Barron attended The Duchess's County High School from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their A levels in General Studies, English Literature, Mathematics, and Information Technology. From 2001 to 2004, Christian Barron then studied at Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, earning a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology.
