Matt McMillan

Matt McMillan has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Matt is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Cognassist, a SaaS platform that supports employers and educators in understanding and enabling cognitive diversity. Prior to this role, they served as the Financial Director at Cognassist.

Before joining Cognassist, Matt worked at Comparison Technologies Ltd as the Head of Finance and later as the Group Financial Controller. Matt was responsible for managing the financial operations of the company.

Prior to that, Matt worked at BESTWAY (HOLDINGS) LIMITED as part of the Group Finance team. Matt played a key role in group treasury management, including refinancing facilities, working capital management, and external investor management.

Matt started their career at Chantrey Vellacott DFK as an ACA Trainee Accountant. During their time there, they gained experience in various industries and developed leadership skills as the onsite lead on many projects.

Matt McMillan earned a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Bath, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
