David Vaillancourt

David Vaillancourt has extensive work experience, starting in 1994 as an Officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. In this role, they supervised various staff and managed budgets and equipment. David then worked as a Network Operations Specialist at Ge Plastics from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they served as a Network Engineer at 3Com Corporation. Since 2000, David has been working at Cognex Corporation, where they have held positions such as Manager, Distributed Computing, Senior Manager in various IT departments, and currently serves as the Director of IT Global Operations.

David Vaillancourt received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vermont Technical College, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. In addition, they hold a Microsoft certification in Azure Fundamentals, obtained from Microsoft in the year 2020.
