Glenn Spitz

Glenn Spitz is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering ID Products at Cognex Corporation since December 2016, Glenn has played a pivotal role in integrating Webscan, Inc. into Cognex, with a focus on expanding premier Bar Code Verification products. Prior to this, Glenn was the President of Webscan, Inc. from October 1995 until its transition to Cognex. Earlier career experience includes various positions in research and development and engineering at Symbol Technologies, culminating in the role of Manager of Decode Core Competency. Glenn Spitz earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
