Hsueh-Chien Cheng

Hsueh-Chien Cheng has extensive work experience in software engineering. From February 2021 to present, they have been working as a Principal Software Engineer at Cognex Corporation. Prior to that, they held the same position from March 2020 to February 2021. From February 2018 to March 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognex Corporation. Before joining Cognex, they worked as a Postgraduate Student at the National Cancer Institute from August 2016 to December 2017 and at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from June 2012 to December 2013.

Hsueh-Chien Cheng earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2007. Following this, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University from 2007 to 2009. Hsueh-Chien then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Maryland from 2010 to 2017.
