Mary Yang

Mary Yang serves as the Head of Legal Department (Asia) and Head of Legal & Compliance (Asia) for Cognex Corporation since July 2013, acting as Legal Representative for Cognex Vision Inspection System (Shanghai) Company Ltd. and a member of its Senior Management Committee. Previously, Mary held the position of Lead Legal Counsel for Henkel's Adhesive Industry in Greater China & Vietnam, managing corporate legal matters, tax and customs affairs, and anti-trust compliance. With earlier roles as Legal Counsel at PYI Corporation Limited and Legal Manager at Cathay Fortune Corp., Mary has extensive experience in China commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investment. Mary holds an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Laws from Fudan University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Wuhan University.
