Michael also participated in the Junior Officer Leadership Program at GE from January 2002 to November 2003.
Before joining the corporate sector, Michael served as a Captain and Combat Engineer Officer in the US Marine Corps from May 1997 to December 2001.
Michael Bowdoin has an extensive education history. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Columbia University in the years 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed an Individualized Degree in Math/Chemistry/Physics at Providence College, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. In high school, they attended Cumberland High from 1988 to 1992. Later on, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Business from Boston College Carroll School of Management, studying from 2003 to 2005. Furthermore, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the same institution in the period 2005 to 2006. Finally, they attended Harvard Extension in 2011 as a non-degree candidate, focusing on Mandarin.
