Robert Vanca

Robert Vanca is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading development teams and managing software projects. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for the UI Platform at Cognex Corporation since November 2009, Robert has held various managerial roles, including Site Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, while overseeing a new developer team in Budapest focused on designing and building products using C# and C++. Previously, Robert was a Senior Project Manager at NNG LLC, where management of GPS software projects for international clients was a key responsibility. Early career experience includes roles as a C++ Developer at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, a PHP Developer at Bács-net, and a Visual Basic Developer at Deltaex Programutveckling AB. Robert holds a Master of Science degree in Technical Informatics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, completed between 1998 and 2008.
