Shane Lachappelle

Shane LaChappelle is an experienced professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Upstream Marketing and Strategy for Logistics Solutions at Cognex Corporation, a position held since August 2023. In this role, Shane leads a team focused on influencing research and development to address the needs of logistics customers by setting a strategic vision for the next 3-5 years. Prior to this, Shane was the owner of PEI LLC, where the primary responsibility was as a process lead for a CPQ Integration for Cognex and providing consulting in strategic planning, market sizing, competitive analysis, and product management. Shane's past experience at Cognex includes several managerial roles in product marketing and logistics solutions from 2010 to 2022, where responsibility encompassed go-to-market strategies, proposal management, and customer support initiatives. Shane holds an Executive MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University.
