Andre Turenne

Andre Turenne is the current Director at Cogniac. Andre has also worked as a Partner at D. E. Shaw & Co., Senior Manager at Intel Capital, and Managing Director at NeoCarta Ventures.

Andre has over 20 years of experience in venture capital and technology investments. Andre started their career at Intel Capital, where they were a Senior Manager of Strategic Investments. Andre then moved to NeoCarta Ventures, where they were the Managing Director. In 2006, they joined D. E. Shaw & Co. as a Partner in the venture capital investment group.

At D. E. Shaw & Co., Andre was responsible for leading investments in many different companies, including STANLEY + Techstars Accelerator and National Grid. In 2016, Andre left D. E. Shaw & Co. to become the Director at Cogniac.

Andre Turenne earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University, where they were valedictorian.
