Carlos Sedglach has a diverse work experience in the field of automation and engineering.
Carlos started their career as an Internship Manufacturing Engineer at General Motors in 2004.
In 2007, they joined Buck Engineering GmbH as a Junior Automation Engineer and then transitioned to a role as a Student Internship.
From 2008 to 2012, Carlos worked at Handtmann A-Punkt Automation GmbH, initially as a Senior Automation Engineer and later as an Automation Engineering Team Lead.
Carlos then joined KEBA Industrial Automation Germany GmbH in 2016, where they served as the Lead Global Application Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for leading the CNC application engineering team, designing and developing programs, and ensuring product quality.
In 2019, Carlos joined Alfa Laval as a Technology Specialist Smart Manufacturing, where they worked until 2021.
Currently, they are working at Cognibotics, starting as a Technical Manager in 2021, and then transitioning to the role of Business Unit Manager in June 2022.
Carlos Sedglach completed their Executive Program in Machine Learning at the MIT Sloan School of Management, concluding in 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences, where they attended from 2005 to 2007. Carlos also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Queretaro, which they earned between 2000 and 2004. In addition, they completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego from 2002 to 2003.
