Tammy Khelfa, SHRM-CP

Tammy Khelfa, SHRM-CP has over 25 years of work experience in various administrative and managerial roles. Tammy currently serves as the Administrative Operations Manager at Cognicion LLC since December 2019. Prior to their current role, Tammy worked as an Executive Assistant at Cognicion LLC from 2016 to December 2019.

Before joining Cognicion LLC, Tammy worked as an Executive Assistant at Keiter from 2014 to 2016. Tammy also co-founded and served as an Office Manager at Barbara's Daycare for a brief period in 2013.

Tammy worked as an Administrative Staff Specialist at Children's Hospital of Richmond from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Legal/Administrative Assistant at James River Financial Corporation from 2008 to 2010 and as an Administrative Assistant at DesJardins Custom Build from 2004 to 2008.

Tammy also has experience as a Realtor at Long & Foster from 2003 to 2007, a Marketing Support Coordinator at Interbake Foods, Inc from 2002 to 2003, and a Sales/Administrative Assistant at Hudson Industries Inc from 2001 to 2002. Tammy started their career at Goldberg Company, Inc and held various roles including Recruiter, HR-Sr. Administrative Assistant, and Sales Assistant from 1992 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Tammy Khelfa has demonstrated a strong background in administration, operations management, and executive support. Their experience spans across a variety of industries including healthcare, finance, construction, real estate, and manufacturing.

Tammy Khelfa, SHRM-CP, completed a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Richmond's School of Professional & Continuing Studies in 2021. Tammy also obtained a Certificate in Business Communications from the same institution in the same year. In 2020, they participated in the Executive Education program at the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business and received a Mini MBA. Tammy is currently pursuing a degree in HR Fundamentals for Managers from the University of Richmond's School of Professional & Continuing Studies, which they started in 2022. In addition to their educational accomplishments, they obtained their SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in February 2023.
