Marcelo Martínez

Marcelo Martínez has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer at Cogniflow AI, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Marcelo worked at UruIT for over a decade. Marcelo held various positions including Head of Innovation, Managing Director, Country Manager for Colombia, COO, HR & Staffing Manager, and Software Engineer. During their tenure at UruIT, Marcelo played a crucial role in establishing the company's presence in Colombia and implementing key operational aspects. Additionally, they were responsible for managing project teams, developing the careers of team members and leaders, and overseeing supplier and partner relationships. Prior to UruIT, Marcelo worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Software Developer, where they gained experience working as an American Express consultant and was involved in important migration projects and the development of various applications.

Marcelo Martínez obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad de la República from 2000 to 2008. Marcelo then pursued an Executive Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad de Montevideo from 2010 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Marcelo Martínez received a MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0, Windows Applications certification from Microsoft in March 2009, a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification in March 2005, and a Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2013. Furthermore, they obtained a Curso de Growth certification from Growth Rockstar in May 2023.
