Bernhard Dr. Geyer has extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. In 1992, they began working as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Institut für Regelungstechnik der RWTH Aachen University, where they stayed until 1997. Following this, from 1997 to 2001, they worked as a Projektleiter CrashBase Software at GfS - Gesellschaft für Strukturanalyse, where they played a significant role in the development of the CrashBase product.
In 2001, Bernhard joined NI (National Instruments) as the Gruppenleiter Softwareentwicklung. Bernhard successfully led the FlexLogger Data Group and oversaw the creation of a new intuitive software product. Additionally, they managed the effective release of FlexLogger products and built a team for the development of the MathScript module for LabVIEW NXG. From 2020 to 2022, they took up the role of Senior Manager Softwareentwicklung at NI, where they supported the transition to agile software development and guided two teams in their successful transition from waterfall-based processes.
Currently, Bernhard is serving as an Engineering Manager at Cognigy, starting in 2022.
Bernhard Dr. Geyer completed their education in a chronological order. From 1986 to 1991, they attended Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and obtained a degree in Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering). Following that, they pursued further education at RWTH Aachen University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Doktor degree (Ph.D.) in Ingenieurwissenschaften (Engineering Sciences). In addition to their academic qualifications, Bernhard Dr. Geyer has also obtained several certifications, including "Cognigy Academy | Cognigy.AI Certified Specialist" from Cognigy in February 2023, "Become an Agile Project Manager" from LinkedIn in February 2022, and various other certifications related to project management, agile methodologies, and organizational change management.
