Dorel Iosif, Ph.D

Dorel Iosif, Ph.D has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1990 at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Researcher in the Department of Respiratory Physiology. In 1993, they began working at the University of Melbourne as a Lecturer in Mathematical Methods and Mergers and Acquisitions. Dorel also had various managerial roles with Atkins, GHD, Taylor Woodrow, and BHPBilliton from 1993-2005. From 2005-2009, they were the Director of Corporate Development, Integration, and Mergers and Acquisitions at KBR, Inc. From 2009-2014, they held the roles of Senior Vice President and Vice President & Global Director at WorleyParsons. In 2014, they became the Managing Director & Regional CEO - Middle East and North Africa at Advisian. From 2014-2019, they were the Managing Director Asia Pacific - Energy Practice at PwC. Dorel is currently the Managing Partner and Chief Executive at LAVAUX, where they work with Companies' leadership to improve the strategic posture of the business and build/re-configure operations and capabilities in order to gain clear competitive advantage in the current markets, expand into new arenas and create new control points for value. Dorel Iosif, Ph.D obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics / Numerical Methods from the University of Melbourne between 1993 and 1998. In 2011, they completed an Executive Programme from Harvard Business School in Corporate Level Strategy.
