Robin Mills

Robin Mills has extensive work experience in the energy sector, beginning in 1997 when they joined Shell International as an Economist and Geologist. In 2003, they moved to Norske Shell as an Economist, and in 2006, they joined Dubai Energy as Senior Evaluation Manager, leading the economic evaluation group. In 2008, they became Petroleum Economics Manager at Emirates National Oil Company, and in 2011, they took on the role of Head of Consulting at Manaar Energy Consulting. In 2015, they became Non-Resident Fellow for Energy at The Brookings Institution and CEO of Qamar Energy. In 2017, they were appointed Senior Fellow at the Iraq Energy Institute, and in 2018, they became a Non-Resident Fellow at the Columbia SIPA Center on Global Energy Policy. In 2020, they founded and became Director of Cognisium.

Robin Mills has an education history spanning from 2006 to 2010. In 2006, they attended the Arabic Language Centre, however, no degree or field of study was completed. From 1994 to 1997, they attended the University of Cambridge, where they earned a MA (Cantab.), First Class in Geology. Additionally, they attended the Maximising Recovery from Mature Fields Conference, Petroleum Fiscal Systems course, and Upstream commercial course, however, no degree or field of study was completed.
