Karen Barnes

Karen Barnes is currently an advisor at Cognistx, but they have held a variety of positions in the past that have all led up to their current role. Karen first started their career at Agile City Winston-Salem, where they gained experience in the field of marketing. Karen then moved on to Cognistx, where they worked as a partner and SVP of operations. After leaving Cognistx, they became the executive director at Venture Cafe Winston-Salem, where they helped connect innovators and make things happen. Most recently, they founded Critical Shift Consulting, where they help companies navigate the ever-changing marketplace and create lasting behavior change.
