Steve Brett

Steve Brett has extensive experience in the field of art direction and design. Steve currently holds the position of Senior Art Director at Cognite since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a freelance creative all-rounder at HEALTHCARE & MORE Freelance starting from August 2009. In this role, they managed various aspects of projects, from concept development to artwork execution, and collaborated with external suppliers.

Before their freelance work, Steve held positions at Sudler & Hennessey as the Head of Art from April 2007 to July 2009, and as a Senior Art Director from November 2000 to April 2007. Steve also worked as a Senior Art Director on a freelance basis at Euro RSCG from May 2000 to November 2000.

Steve's earlier roles in their career include being a Senior Art Director at Sudler & Hennessey from August 1996 to May 2000, an Art Director at Medicus (formerly R&R) from March 1994 to August 1996, and a Graphic Designer at Myer Grace Bros from March 1991 to March 1994.

Throughout their work experience, Steve has showcased their expertise in various mediums including print, digital, and events. Steve has worked on diverse projects ranging from journal ads and packaging design to corporate videos and exhibition stand design.

Steve Brett earned a BA in Visual Communications with a focus on Graphic Design & Art Direction from RMIT University. In December 2019, they obtained additional certifications in PowerPoint 2019 for Mac Essential Training and PowerPoint: Designing Better Slides from LinkedIn.
