Anders Hafreager has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they began their career at the University of Oslo as a PhD candidate, specializing in atomistic simulation using molecular dynamics. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant, teaching courses in classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, computational physics, and disordered systems and percolation. Outside of Cognite, Anders has served as a board member for House of Math and a member of the Board of Advisors for HAGAL AS. Anders has also been involved in various mentorship and organizational roles, including being a mentor and webmaster for ENT3R UiO and an organizer for Startup Weekend Norway.
