Lauritz Lont

Lauritz Lont has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Lauritz is currently working at Cognite as a Technical Sales Director since February 2023, where they are responsible for driving technical sales activities. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Customer Success at Cognite from July 2022 to March 2023. In this position, they managed the success of several large clients in the Energy vertical and handled business development, strategy, product management, project management, and go-to-market activities.

Before joining Cognite, Lauritz worked at KPMG Norway as an Associate from August 2019 to August 2020. Here, they were part of the "Digital Transformation" group and worked on various projects related to the strategic aspects of technological development, emphasizing the importance of customer insights in the modern economy.

Lauritz also gained experience at Swedbank Corporates & Institutions as a Winter Intern in Investment Banking for two months in early 2019. Here, they were involved in capital structure advisory, structuring bond offerings, and other debt exercises.

In addition, Lauritz worked part-time at Nordea as an Assistant Analyst in the Global Collateral Control unit from May 2017 to January 2019. Lauritz'sresponsibilities included minimizing credit risk by exchanging collateral with trading counterparts.

Before entering the corporate world, Lauritz held various part-time positions. Lauritz worked as a Sales Assistant and Junior Music Stylist at Apollo Music from February 2016 to May 2017, providing music rights and licensing services. Lauritz was also a Sales Associate at Adicio AS, specializing in B2C sales in the Norwegian energy market for a brief period in 2015.

During their studies, Lauritz worked as a receptionist/supervisor at Heming IL from January 2012 to June 2014. Additionally, they served as a board member of the School Student Union of Norway from March 2012 to March 2014, representing over 25,000 Norwegian students.
