Michael Susæg

Michael Susæg has a solid work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Cognite AS since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft for a remarkable ten years as a Principal Software Development Engineer from April 2008 to June 2018. Before joining Microsoft, they were a Tech Lead Search Core at Fast Search & Transfer ASA from May 1999 to April 2008, where they worked on various search engine core software projects. In their first full-time job at D.A.G. labs, they worked as a Software Engineer from January 1998 to April 1999. Michael also had a role as a Consultant at the IT department of the University of Tromsø during the summer of 1996 and 1997, where they worked on various IT projects.

Michael Susæg obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Electronics from Narvik University College (HiN) between 1992 and 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway from 1995 to 1997.
