Stephanie Chong

Stephanie Chong has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. Stephanie is currently working at Cognite as the Senior Director of Security Governance Risk and Compliance, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Cognite starting from October 2020.

Before joining Cognite, Stephanie spent three years at EY as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services - Cybersecurity from September 2017 to July 2020.

Stephanie also has experience as an IT Security Manager at Marine Harvest Group from October 2014 to August 2017.

Stephanie began their career at National Australia Bank as a Senior IT Internal Auditor from September 2011 to August 2013. Stephanie then worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Australia from May 2010 to September 2011.

Prior to that, Stephanie was a Regional IT SOX Adviser at Prudential Services Asia from August 2009 to April 2010. Stephanie started their career at KPMG as an Associate from September 2006 to July 2009.

Stephanie Chong completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Melbourne from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they also pursued a Masters of Business and IT from Melbourne Business School, which they completed from 2004 to 2006. Their focus of study was mainly in the fields of Computer Science and Business.
