Theresa Talor

Theresa Talor has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Theresa is currently a Solutions Architect at Cognite since June 2022, where they are involved in designing and implementing solutions for clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Engineer at Cognite from June 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Cognite, Theresa worked at imidia as a Sr Data Developer from July 2017 to June 2020. In this role, they led the Profiling and Analytics branch, where they were responsible for data understanding and automated data preparation. Theresa also implemented data quality exercises resulting in data deduplication.

Theresa also has experience at alliantgroup as a Data Architect from May 2015 to July 2017. Here, they created reporting and analytics tools that supported critical business decisions. Theresa focused on database system design, development, and automation.

Prior to that, Theresa worked at Sense Corp as a Technical Consultant from July 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they supported operational improvements for clients and served as an ETL Developer for a data warehouse upgrade project. Theresa'swork involved extensive travel throughout the US.

Theresa's earlier experience includes an IT Internship at LINN Energy, LLC in disaster recovery, a Teaching Assistant role at The University of Texas at Austin, and a Summer Internship at Raymond James Financial Inc. spanning from 2008 to 2012.

Theresa attended the institution from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Theresa has obtained several certifications from edX. In December 2020, they received the edX Verified Certificate for Analyzing Data with Python. In January 2021, they obtained the edX Verified Certificate for Computing in Python: Fundamentals and Procedural Programming. Lastly, in March 2021, they acquired the edX Verified Certificate for Computing in Python II: Control Structures.
