Alana Balagot

Alana Balagot is an accomplished Senior Creative Technologist at COGNITION, where work commenced in September 2022. With a long-standing career as an independent film composer since 2008 under Balagot Music, Alana has also held key roles in various companies, including Creative Solutions Lead and Technical Lead at Ayzenberg from 2015 to 2022. Previous positions include Senior Full Stack Developer at Drawing From Memory and numerous freelance roles as a Senior PHP Developer for clients such as Team One and Midnight Oil. Alana's technical expertise spans software engineering and web development, complemented by a strong educational background with an MFA in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago and a BM in Music Composition from Oberlin College.
