Ben Higgitt

Ben Higgitt has a diversified work experience in various roles and industries. Ben started their career as an Applications Engineer at IMI Vision, a subsidiary of IMI Plc, where they focused on engineering development of fluid technologies. Ben then joined Quanta Dialysis Technologies as a Lead Verification Engineer & IT Systems Manager, where they played a key role in the development of the SelfCare+ haemodialysis machine and was named as an inventor on several patents. Currently, Ben is working at Cognition Corporation, where they have held multiple roles. Ben started as an Applications Engineer, involved in designing and implementing systems to manage product development data. Ben then progressed to become a Project Manager, before taking on the role of Engineering Technical Lead, where they contributed to product vision, strategy, and design. Currently, Ben holds the position of Product Line Manager at Cognition Corporation.

Ben Higgitt completed their A-Levels in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry at Alcester Grammar School from 1999 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a degree in Physics & Space Research at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2005, obtaining an MSci degree. In terms of additional certifications, Ben obtained two Regulatory Affairs Certificates: one in Medical Devices and another in Dual, both from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program in January 2019.
