Michael Ragusa

Michael Ragusa has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Michael currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Cognition Corporation since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Nuance Communications from May 2019 to March 2020.

From 2014 to 2019, Michael worked at Cognition Corporation, starting as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they extended the compiler and feature set for an in-house scripting language called ASE, developed a Visual Studio plugin for ASE, and led the conversion of projects from Visual Source Safe to Git. Michael also developed a generic connector utility in C# and created an open-source tool using an XML diff engine in C++.

Before joining Cognition Corporation, Michael gained experience as a Junior Software Developer at Explorica in 2013 and as a Web Developer at Enterprise Systems from 2011 to 2013. Michael also served as the Webmaster for Delta Upsilon during the same period.
