Ben Laurie

Ben Laurie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and cryptography sectors. Currently serving as Owner of Glansevin Mansion since December 2021, Ben is also a Member of the Technical Advisory Board for Our Future Health UK. Since August 2011, Ben has held the position of Director at Capabilities Limited. As a Principal Engineer at Google since January 2019, Ben contributes to innovative technical projects. Other roles include Advisor at CognitionX, Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge, Committer for The FreeBSD Project, and a long-standing Member of the Apache Software Foundation, where Ben has also served as a Director. Ben is recognized as a Founder and Core Team Member of OpenSSL, a leading free cryptographic toolkit established in December 1998, as well as a Member of the Apache HTTP Server Project since November 1995. Educational background includes studies in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and attendance at Latymer.
