Margaret Sharon is currently an Assistant Teacher at the Early Childhood Center at Temple Beth Shalom, where responsibilities include assisting in a three-year-old classroom and delivering interactive activities. In addition, Margaret serves as a Program Assistant at Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants, contributing to case supervision and clinical sessions for children with selective mutism. Previous roles include Senior Program Assistant and Program Assistant at the Child Mind Institute, where Margaret supported training and managed daily operations, alongside experience as a counselor with Voices Rising and Brave Buddies. Margaret has also shared insights on overcoming select mutism as a panelist for the Selective Mutism Association. A co-president and costume coordinator for the Afreen dance team, Margaret has experience in event management and budgeting, along with externships at the Smithsonian Institution focusing on educational programs. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Psychology from Bryn Mawr College and has attended Columbia University.
