Charles Shi Cheng is an experienced portfolio manager currently at Cognitive Capital, LLC since July 2021, following a role as a senior quantitative trader at 3Red Partners. Previously, Charles was the quantitative trading team lead at Budo Group, where involvement included founding a trading group focused on algorithmic arbitrage strategies in CME GLOBEX futures. Earlier experience includes serving as head of quantitative trading at AlphaBit Trading and Archelon Group, where Charles directed the development of algorithmic strategies across various asset classes. Charles holds a Master of Engineering in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
