Tom Willers

Tom Willers has a wealth of experience in software engineering, data science, and engineering. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Graduate Placement Student at Cosworth, where they supported endurance testing and created an excel report document to compare data from different engines and tests. In 2013, they worked as a Software Tester at NatCen Social Research. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Elite IB Tutors as a Private Tutor, Vehicle Design Imperial as the Head of Powertrain, X-Stream Trucking as an Engineering Czar, and Jaguar Land Rover as a MATLAB developer, Python developer, Data Scientist, and CFD Analyst. In 2019, they worked as a Full-Stack Developer at District Technologies. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Backend Developer at kwiff, where they managed peak ingestion of 10k+ pricing and probability changes per minute, broadcasted betting markets to multiple front-end platforms, processed 1000s of simultaneous wagers per minute, and integrated with 3rd party payment providers. Finally, in 2021 and 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Freetrade and Cognitive Credit, respectively.

Tom Willers completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an International Baccalaureate from King's College School Wimbledon between 2008 and 2013.
