David Ferreira Junior

David Ferreira Junior has had a varied work experience since 2009. David started their career as a Software Tester at CPqD in 2009. In 2011, they moved to Estat Júnior as a Project Manager. In 2013 they joined Cepagri-Embrapa as a Statistical/Data Scientist. David then moved to Embrapa in 2015, where they worked as a Data Scientist. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at RCB Investimentos in the roles of Analytics Manager, Data Scientist/Analytics Coordinator and Data Scientist/Analytics Analyst. During this time, they were responsible for developing statistical predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms. In 2019, they joined CargoX as a Senior Data Scientist, where they were responsible for developing Machine Learning models for freight pricing and recommendation of freight and drivers. Most recently, in 2021, they joined BTG Pactual as a Data Scientist.

David Ferreira Junior has a diverse educational background. From 2005 to 2007, they attended ETECAP - Escola Técnica Estadual Conselheiro Antonio Prado, where they obtained their high school degree. In 2007, they attended SAET - Seminário Ágape de Educação Teológica and obtained a Development of Skills Presentation in Communication. From 2008 to 2009, they attended Cotuca - Colégio Técnico de Campinas Universidade Estadual de Campinas and obtained a Computer Technician with Emphasis in Programming and Internet. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. In 2014, they also attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas and obtained a Data Preparation for Data Mining in Data Mining. Additionally, they hold a Certification Methodology Six Sigma - Green Belt Training from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
