Joel Melo

Joel Melo has worked in the IT industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2013, they worked at Indra where they held the positions of Developer/Instructor, Corporate Architect, and Systems Analyst. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at EBSERH as a Systems Analyst. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Connect Excelencia Em Servicos as a Project Manager. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at EBSERH SEDE as a Data Scientist. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Cognitivo.ai as a Business Intelligence - Dataviz and at Laboratório de Inovação Tecnológica em Saúde (LAIS/HUOL/UFRN) as a Pesquisador - Engenharia de Dados. Currently, they are working at Minsait as an Arquiteto de Soluções e Processos.

Joel Melo is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina. Joel is also enrolled in a Postgraduate Lato Sensu in Systems Engineering at ESAB - Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology Management from Universidade Paulista _ in 2011. In 2022, they will obtain an MBA - Engenharia de Dados from IGTI. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from various institutions, such as MATLAB Coding, Coursera, 4.0 Solutions, XP Educação, Semantix Inc, Erick Wendel Training and Consulting, LINUXtips, Analytics Vidhya, Microsoft, WorldQuant University, and Kafkabr.
