Ed Boyden completed their undergraduate education from 1995 to 1999 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained dual degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Ed also earned a Master of Engineering degree from the same institution during this period. Following their undergraduate studies, Boyden pursued further education at Stanford University from 1999 to 2005. Ed successfully attained a PhD in Neurosciences during their time at Stanford.
