Steve Maxim

Steve Maxim began their career in 1995 as a Pilot Technician at Brooks Automation. Steve then worked as a Corrections Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Global Support at Brooks Automation. Steve joined Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. in 2001 and held various roles including Technical Support Specialist, Senior Opto-Mechanical Technician, Associate Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor, and Manufacturing Manager. In 2012, they joined Avedro, Inc. as a Production Manager and later became the Director of Manufacturing. Steve worked at Avedro, Inc. until 2019 when they joined IPG Photonics, Medical as the Manufacturing Operations Manager for Medical Products. In 2022, they became the Director of Manufacturing at Cognito Therapeutics, Inc.

Steve Maxim attended Salem State University from 1989 to 1994, where they studied Business Management.
