Gregg Johns

Gregg Johns has held a variety of engineering roles since 2011. In 2011, they were a Contract Engineer for Resource H2O Inc, where they worked on technology and system development for an intelligent rainwater harvester. In 2014, they worked as a Contract Engineer for SafeOp Surgical. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Director of R&D Neuromonitoring and Director of R&D SafeOp at Alphatec Spine, where they oversaw product development for the SafeOp neuro-monitoring platform, managed systems engineering, Android software teams, and innovation teams, and developed data science and algorithms. In 2021, they were the Director of Product and Engineering and Director of Engineering at OtO Inc., where they were responsible for cross-functional engineering teams and focused on owning the outdoor IoT space. In 2022, they will serve as the Vice President of Engineering at Cognixion.

Gregg Johns obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Systems & Computing from the University of Guelph.
